5 BEST THINGS TO DO IN NUSA PENIDA
I’m sure you would have seen the famous pictures of Nusa Penida a million times before, it certainly is an iconic spot in Bali. In this blog i’ll take you through the best things to do in Nusa Penida.
Looking for x things I wish I knew before visiting Nusa Penida?
KELINGKING BEACH
Lets get straight to the point… this is the famous place you’ve seen on your Instagram thousands of times before! All for the right reasons though - It’s absolutely breathtaking to see.
Cllimbing down: You can climb all the way down the stairs to get to the beach at the bottom BUT please note this will take around an hour and the terrain is a little rough! Personally, we decided not to do this as we were struggling enough walking out the carpark in crocs and sliders nevermind walking down a blumin mountain! However, I think if we were wearing better shoes we would have done!
PS. Please be warned there are monkeys EVERYWHERE! They’re cute until they take a bottle of water from you!
2. BROKEN BEACH
Tell me why wouldn’t you want to see a beautiful arch with the sea rushing through? The scenery at Broken Beach is gorgeous. and it is well worth a visit when exploring Nusa Penida. However, when we were here the sea was super duper CHOPPY! There was no way I was going for a dip down there!
3. ANGEL’S BILLABONG
Ok, so hear me out… apparently usually this water is crystal clear and looks stunning. However, we went on a day after it absaloutley CHUCKED it down! So, it was a little muddy but nonetheless I can still see its potential for crystal clear waters and it was still great to see!
4. CRYSTAL BAY BEACH
This spot is amazing for cooling off in crystal clear waters after a long day sight seeing. This beach is also SUPER popular for snorkelling and scuba diving. So, if you’re wanting to get a little closer to the fishies in Nusa Penida this would be the spot for you!
1 PLACE I WISH WE VISITED:
DIAMOND BEACH
Just looking at this beach from the photo below I am so gutted we missed it! Apparently, the light blue. water and soft white sand seem untouched - sounds amazing doesn’t it?
Next time we go to Nusa Pendia are definitelty going here!
